It’s a double hitter for Melody’s Addiction this weekend. On Saturday Sept 18th, find me in the usual spot at the Brooklyn Flea and on Sunday Sept 19th I’ll be at Harlem PoP, a pop up store in the heart of Harlem that will also be amidst the African American Day Parade.
BROOKLYN FLEA Sat 9/18
The market is located in the schoolyard at 176 Lafayette Ave (btw. Clermont + Vanderbilt Ave.) and is open 10am-5pm. The Flea features hundreds of top vendors of antique and repurposed furniture, vintage clothing, collectibles and antiques, as well as new jewelry, art and crafts by local artisans and designers, plus delicious fresh food. Find me under a red tent in the back row near the food, usually across from the delicious Pizza Moto and Asia Dog.
HARLEM POP Sun 9/19
The shop is at 2037 Fifth Avenue (at 126th Street) from 12-6pm. Harlem PoP will be a destination for fashion and art enthusiasts living in Harlem and beyond. Offering a mash up of music, fashion, art and film Harlem PoP attendees can purchase one-of-a-kind pieces from emerging designers, interact with artists as they work, attend a film screening, view artwork or have a bite to eat.
